After long 3 years abroad I finally made it back to one of the best conferences regarding 'online' ever. Yes,... ...
Beginning – Greeting and short overview
In the beginning you should be polite and mention what the whole letter is about. And always start with a polite greeting!
Example:
Dear Sir or Madame,
I came across your job opening on www.jobsforme.co.th and considered this opening as very interesting. With this email I would like to ask whether this position is still vacant. If so, I would like to apply for it.
The body – the message
The body contains the bigger part of the message. Here you can explain what exactly you offer or what you want.
Example:
Right now I am teaching English at the Udon Thani Vocational College in Udon Thani, Thailand. This was planned as one year experience and will end in the first week of September this year. Since I was always interested in Latin America I would be happy to get the chance to work there in the near future.
Before starting my work as teacher here in Udon Thani I studied Business Information Systems in Germany. While studying I did an internship in Sydney, Australia and wrote my thesis in Berlin, Germany. Afterwards I worked in Vienna, Austria before I decided to take a break and work as teacher. Now that I realized how much fun teaching is, I would be happy to go on with it for a longer time. Furthermore I would be very happy to improve my basic spanish skills as good as possible.
The End – finish friendly and with an expectation
In the end you summarize your expectations again and say goodbye in a friendly way
Example:
If this sounds in any way interesting to you I would be happy to get more information and to hear from you soon. Iattached my current resumé for your convenience.
Kind Regards,
Sascha Funk
